This is my favourite bed made to date, and the one I chose to display at the Wood Works Show at Marston Vale. The thicker timber used for the corners taper in to the thickness of the horizontals, and I have cut a diagonal out of the legs to lighten the overall impression. However the bed retains a real feeling of solidity and mass, and the timber has aged to a beautiful rich colour.
